Designed for 2 people, The Bud has the smallest footprint of our family of buildings, yet retains all of the luxurious elements of our design principles. The configuration is living and dining on the lower level, and sleeping in the top level. A balcony leading out from the bedroom takes full advantage of views of the natural surroundings. A set of steps leads up into The Bud, starting your journey. Configuration options offer an external deck around the lower level of the building, scaled to fit the available space onsite.
The open-plan living space is set over 2 levels. Throughout there is a luxurious interior decorated with natural materials and brass accents. High-quality bed linens & soft furnishings will create a comforting yet stylish space. Cool tones will be offset with warm wooden flooring, a feature wood burning stove and tactile furnishings.
The balcony leads off the bedroom, with a wall of glazed opening doors, bringing the outside in. There's space on the balcony for a sofa and table to relax and take in the surroundings. An overhanging roof makes it the perfect space all year round to enjoy the views, and to avoid some of the harsher elements the climate can bring.
Wide, retractable glazed doors access the main livening structure. Inside a cosy space greets guests with a seating area and wood burning stove. With a fully fitted kitchenette and dining area, there are all the modern comforts which our clients would expect. Paddle stairs lead up to the bedroom, bathroom and balcony.
The middle level offers a luxurious master bedroom with views out into the woodland from the balcony. Take a shower in the en-suite wet room with a glazed opening window which lets in the sunlight for an indoor/outdoor feel. Plus there is a fully flushing toilet. From this level the occupants can look straight out from bed or bath into the surrounding woodland, or sleep with the doors open to feel at one with nature. A skylight above the bed makes for perfect star gazing at night.
There is hot & cold running water, electricity, an HD smartscreen with HDMI & USB connections, heating, WI-FI and a fully operational kitchen. We want guests to be able to enjoy the often temperamental British weather knowing there is a warm shower and comfortable bed waiting for them when they return.
The terraces and mezzanine level have unobtrusive yet safe balustrading; strong and substantial, high enough and close enough to protect small children. Fire and carbon monoxide alarms are fitted, and the log burner has a cool-glass safety window fitted to the front to protect guests.
